The compact Aiptek GoProjector DLP Pico Projector for GoPro HERO features a DLP optical engine backed up by a 20,000-hour LED light source, and is powered with a 100-minute lithium-polymer battery. With a 50 lumen brightness, the projector is able to project up to a 60" diagonal image under low/no light conditions. The portable GoProjector features VGA 640 x 480 native resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The GoProjector incorporates several features that optimize it for pairing with a GoPro HERO action camera - including the HERO4 Black/Silver, HERO3+, HERO3, and HERO2 models. In particular, it comes with the cables needed for connecting the GoPro via HDMI. In addition, it features a dedicated MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) interface on a short micro-USB pigtail cable, so you can connect any MHL-enabled smartphone or mobile device. This means you can receive a wireless signal from the GoPro when employing a mobile device that has the GoPro App installed.
But you aren't limited to using the projector with a GoPro or smartphone. A micro (type-D) HDMI connector means you can connect it to any HDMI device - for standard (type-A) and mini (type-C) HDMI devices, a separately available HDMI cable or adapter will be required.
